Hi! and welcome to The Samei Edit digital marketing course! My name is Carol and I am so excited that you are here. First and foremost, I am a wife and mom to two amazing kiddos and 5 fur babies. I am from New Orleans and currently live in Texas. I run two traditional businesses, one is our family business and the other is my home bakery.
I started working at 15 years old and I have truly enjoyed working for some amazing companies but entrepreneurship was always what I wanted.
15 year later, I was able to achieve that. I am truly grateful for the journey starting a business has taken me and for opening the door to pursuing my passion of baking. If you have run a business, you know that it takes time, effort and sacrifices to make it successful. As my mom duties and home bakery started to require more of my attention, I started to want something different. I wanted a bit more time freedom to pursue more of my passions and be more present with my daughter.
